Prof. dr Snežana Štetić is a full-time professor at the College of Tourism, Belgrade, Serbia. She has been doing research work and teaching in the field of Tourism for more than 35 years. She has worked as a tourist guide, interpreter and for several years as a consultant for travel agencies, Tour operators and NTO's in ex-Yugoslavia and some other countries. After finishing MSc in tourism and PhD in economics, tourism and hotel management, she joined Department of Tourismology part of Faculty of Sciences at Belgrade University, and In 1996 Faculty of Sciences, department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management at Novi Sad University. She was teaching also in some European countries as visiting professor. Her innovative work in Tourism, educational programs and practical training for tourism was recognized in ex-Yugoslavia countries end many other.
She has published 30 books in the field of Tourism, many scientific articles and joined many international and domestic congresses. Prof. Štetić is an author and co-author of many research projects in the field of tourism; Author of specialized business schools in tourism and seminars for tour guiding, tour operator representatives, rural tourism, spa tourism and education of local communities for development of tourism. She is also a member of editorial boards of many scientific Journals and Magazines.
